NAACP Gives Grades Of "F" To Entire Kentucky Republican Delegation
Earlier this month, the NAACP issued its annual Legislative Report Card for the 108th Congress and every Republican member of the Kentucky delegation scored an "F." Democrats Ken Lucas and Ben Chandler both scored a grade of "C."
Here is the breakdown:
- Senator McConnell -- 9% -- F
- Senator Bunning -- 12% -- F
- Rep. Ernie Fletcher -- 25% -- F
- Rep. Ed Whitfield -- 27% -- F
- Rep. Anne Northup -- 30% -- F
- Rep. Hal Rogers -- 30% -- F
- Rep. Ron Lewis -- 33% -- F
- Rep. Ken Lucas -- 70% -- C
- Rep. Ben Chandler -- 78% -- C
9%? How embarrassing.
[note that Chandler's and Fletcher's voting records were partial, but their grade is based on how they voted on the various bills]

The NAACP does not reflect the values of Kentuckians. Therefor we should be ashamed of our two Democratic reps who voted nearly 3/4's the time with the ultra liberal agenda of the NAACP.

Herodatus -
With which part of their mission - listed below - do you disagree? Are you against justice for all Americans? Are you against equality for all Americans? Are you against voter moblization in America? Are you against monitoring equal opportunities in America?
Which is one of these things do you oppose?
"The NAACP fights for justice and equality for all Americans. Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. Its adult and youth members throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities, conducting voter mobilization and monitoring equal opportunity in the public and private sectors."

Their mission has changed.
I agree with Herudotus. The only thing the NAACP cares about is those fortunate enough to hold positions in the organization. I have no problem with “civil rights” however; I do have a problem with “special rights” and handouts. The NAACP has not accomplished a positive thing in years. They are an organization rife with race baiters who attempt to stir civil unrest. Fortunately, most blacks that the NAACP purports to represent realize they are being duped by a bunch of freeloaders who travel first class, stay in the finest hotels and eat at the finest restaurants. All on the backs and dollars of hard working blacks and others who submit to their racial blackmail.

We should be ashamed of the "values" of the majority of Kentuckians...

The really sad part is the Democrats' grades only rise as high as a C.

Limbaugh calls them the "National Association for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People" for a reason.

I work for a company that does a real good job of hiding racial profiling. Several employees have been overlooked for advancement and we are tired of the racism. No one within the company is notified of positions that come available. We are not tested for our abilities or asked if we are even interested in pursuing these advancements. All we know is that white people are being placed with no college experience or testing for abilities. We hear and know that the "N" word is being used at random when referring to us, but we just can't prove it. We don't want to have to go so far as to using surveillance equipment to catch them in the act. It is terribly frustrating...where can we get help. Can anybody help us?

Ruby Sue:
There is not much activity on this blog. Normally, your first step would be to contact the KY Human Right Commission. I do not know of the present makeup of this Committee, if it is still dominated by Fletcher appointees , you may not get much help there. I would contact the state Attorney General Office, if he can not help you at this stage of your complaint, he can at least guide you to the proper office to file your complaint.
Good luck.
